Overview
MarketStats, the ShowingTime market statistics suite, is now live for all Stellar MLS members. MarketStats includes InfoSparks, an interactive market-analysis tool for exploring trends, comparisons, charts, and maps, and FastStats, a set of ready-to-use monthly market reports. Both are reached through single sign-on from Stellar Central and Matrix, so there is no separate login. MarketStats replaces SmartCharts, which was sunset the evening of September 8, 2026.
What's New
MarketStats is here. Stellar MLS has launched MarketStats, the ShowingTime market statistics suite, to all members. MarketStats includes two tools:
- InfoSparks — an interactive market-analysis tool for exploring trends, comparisons, charts, and maps. Compare up to four geographies at once across a wide range of housing variables, market metrics, and time periods. Filter by property type, price range, bedrooms, bathrooms, square footage, lot size, and more. Brand charts with your name, headshot, company, and contact information, then share them with clients, embed them on your website or blog, or post them to social media. Embedded charts stay up to date automatically.
- FastStats — ready-to-use monthly market reports and data summaries, prepared for you and posted to your FastStats interface each month.
How to Get In
Every entry point below is single sign-on — you are already logged in, so there is no separate MarketStats username or password to create or remember.
1. Stellar Central — click the MarketStats tile.
2. Matrix — External Links — select MarketStats.
3. Matrix — Links page — select MarketStats.
4. Matrix — listing-level shortcut — when you run a search, look for the small MarketStats icon above each listing.
The first three take you to the InfoSparks home page with the entire MLS in scope, so you can pick whatever geography you want to analyze.
The listing-level icon works differently, and it is the fastest way to pull market context for a property you are already looking at: clicking it opens InfoSparks with that listing's location already selected, rather than the full MLS. No searching, no filtering — you land on the market data for that listing's area.
SmartCharts Has Been Retired
SmartCharts was sunset on the evening of September 8, 2026, at the same time MarketStats went live. SmartCharts logins have been disabled and the tool is no longer accessible. The SmartCharts deeplink that previously appeared on the listing page has been replaced by the InfoSparks icon described above.
Moving from SmartCharts to InfoSparks — what changes:
- Compare multiple areas — InfoSparks lets you compare up to 4 geographies side by side; SmartCharts was dashboard-style.
- Filtering — InfoSparks is far more extensive: property type, price, beds, baths, sq ft, lot size. SmartCharts focused on market indicators.
- Custom branding — InfoSparks supports headshot, company name, and contact info. SmartCharts was limited.
- Embedding — InfoSparks charts embed on websites, blogs, and social media. SmartCharts embedded charts and dashboard gauges.
- Access — InfoSparks is reached through the MLS via SSO. SmartCharts required a separate login.
- Presentation — InfoSparks is chart-focused and built for deep analysis. SmartCharts was dashboard gauges and quick stats.
Data and Refresh Schedule
- InfoSparks data is updated nightly through the end of the prior month.
- FastStats data is pulled on the 8th calendar day of each month and posted to your FastStats interface on the 13th calendar day. If either day falls on a weekend or holiday, the pull and/or delivery moves to the following business day.
Numbers in InfoSparks may not match a Matrix search exactly. The tools use defined reporting rules, date ranges, status logic, and data-cleaning processes. Match your geography, property type, date range, and filters before comparing — results should be close, but they are not calculated identically.

Land O' Lakes listings are not pulling data as expected. Reported the evening of 9/8; ShowingTime is reviewing. Not included in member-facing content. If a member reports missing Land O' Lakes data, this is the cause — no action needed on the member's end.
